Privacy Policy

What data Bilgim AI collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

To provide the service, we collect a small amount of data. Here is what it is and why we need it.

  • Account data: your name, email, and (if you sign up with a social provider) your public profile id. We need this to create and protect your account.
  • Content: the prompts, reference images, and presets you submit, and the images we generate for you. We need this to render the service.
  • Usage data: which features you use, when, and basic device information (browser, OS, country). We use this to keep the service fast and to debug problems.
  • Billing data: managed by our payment processor (Stripe). We see your billing email, last four card digits, and subscription status — never your full card number.
  • Support data: anything you send us when you contact support@bilgim.ai.

2. How we use it

We use the data above to (a) provide and improve Bilgim AI, (b) authenticate you, (c) process payments, (d) detect and prevent abuse, and (e) respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your private prompts or generated images to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the parties that help us run the service, and only the minimum each one needs:

  • AI model providers (e.g. Fal, Kie) — they receive your prompts and images to generate outputs, under their own terms.
  • Cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Cloudflare R2) — they host the data we store.
  • Payment processor (Stripe) — they handle billing under PCI-DSS.
  • Analytics (e.g. PostHog) — they receive anonymized, aggregated usage data.
  • Law enforcement — only when we are legally required to comply.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated images stay in your gallery until you delete them or close your account.

Backups are retained for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Billing records are kept for the period required by tax law (typically 7 years).

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@bilgim.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA / CPRA respectively — including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, least-privilege access controls, and regular security reviews.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach that affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. International transfers

Bilgim AI is operated from multiple regions. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.

8. Children

Bilgim AI is not directed at children under 13 (or older, where local law requires a higher minimum). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support@bilgim.ai and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as the service evolves. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice by email or in-product notification.
